First off, the marketing behind apps and websites that promote gambling -- they ride on a person’s love for the sports or the players. They make it look so fun, so easy, and most of all, profitable. This combination can make fantasy sports gambling addictive.
Fantasy sports requires a lot of research. And unless you’re unemployed, you could even be using time at work to do your research on team and player stats. This could get you in trouble as people most likely won’t share your enthusiasm on fantasy sports betting.
Another danger found in fantasy sports betting is that the easier it is to put money on these apps or websites, the easier people can lose money on this. Of course, one could say that it’s also just as easy to win money. But like any casino, the winnings mostly go to either the house or experts who dedicate time, effort, and money on this.
